The Gaur clone..Noah we miss you..
This Indian wild buffalo has been amazing to me since i came to know that it is biggest wild buffalo in the world and its one of the many species of India that are very near extinction.I was actually going to post just some nicest photos of this beast,but came accross a page which contained the clone calf of a GAUR which survived merely 48hrs.
In 2001, scientists announced the birth of a cloned gaur, a rare wild ox.
Noah, was created from the skin cells of a male gaur that had died eight years previously; but Noah died just 48 hours after delivery.
