The Chang Jiang (长江) or Yangtze River is the largest river in China and the third longest in the world after the Nile and the Amazon. It flows 6 300 km from its source in western Qinghai province, north of Tibet, to the East China sea at Shanghai. During the 40 million years history of the life and 50,000 years history of human civilization, Yangtze River, a mother river of the Chinese people,brings up billions of Huaxia(华夏子孙) people.

The European Roe Deer is a deer species of Europe. The Roe Deer is a relatively small deer. The Roe Deer is primarily active during the twilight but from May till August the deer is active during daytime too, very quick and graceful, living in woods although it may venture to grasslands and sparse forests. It feeds mainly on grass, leaves, berries and young shoots. It particularly likes very young, tender grass with a high moisture content. The Roe Deer spends most of its life alone, preferring to live solitary except when mating during the breeding season. The Roe Deer attains a maximum life span of ten years.Meeting the young prince of the forest "Bambi" in the forgotten park of Caste Gunterstein. Well in this case it looks more like a pregnant princess! Such a quiet and forgotten park since we didn't met anybody during our 2 hour walk. That's very rare in Holland ;-) For the movie, Disney took the liberty of changing Bambi's species into a white-tailed deer from his original species of roe deer, since roe deer don't inhabit the United States, and the white-tailed deer is more familiar to Americans.

These dandelions were found in the clearing just beyond the bottom of a pine bough. The tree is a type of pine called 'Polish Larch' and it's full of little miniature pine cones.'Swine Snout' is among the many nicknames given to the dandelion due to the fact that the closed flower head resembles the snout of a pig.

Why this shot attracted me from thumbs,,bcos the mono colour background scene has helped the subject to remain aloof from surroundings..thats what he's trying to do too..also it's looking like he's worshipping a 'nobody' or actually 'everybody'...

It's been a beautiful Autumn day, nice and warm too. I didn't notice the huge flock of birds until they were in my viewfinder.

I was trying to take a test shot of the moon with my 70-300mm without using a tripod... Looks like it worked. : )

This one is one of those images which i think not very common type on flickr(i search mostly nature images).
Though it's bit interfered with some photo-editing program(ya i dont like altered ones),,even then i wasnt able to resist myself from puting this work here.
Mostly we find nature images that contain still water reflections,mountains,sky and clouds creating magic every now and then on flickr uploads.
I would like to see this pic with real light.

photographer's note : This photo I made today, in the middle of octobar, after first snowflakes.
Tara Mountain (Serbia) lies 185 km SW of Belgrade. This mountainous region, including Mt. Tara, Mt. Zvijezda and the Drina Canyon, is one of the most beautiful national parks in Europe. It abounds with river gorges (Brusnica), gentle slopes, steep rocky inclines, as well as waterfalls and caves. The area is thickly covered with both evergreen and deciduous forests. A rare sort of pine, named Pancic Spruce after its famous discoverer, may be seen there. Its fauna is also diverse: brown bears and mountain goats, gray eagles, griffin vultures, as well as hundreds of other varieties of birds are not unusual in the region.

This is awsumm,,around northpole it seems..one thing,how the star-curve is seen in water too,,is that a reflection?But how water was that much still..nyways overall incredible,,was wa work which may have took more than an hour at atime and to get this without clouds interfering wd have turned out to a work of a week os so.It's beautiful! Usually, astro shots are judged by their technical merits, it's good to see on that just plain looks great.The clouds add drama! (As if a night sky isn't dramatic enough.)

You know what,i really feel bad sometimes blogging and tagging other photographers works on my blog.But hanging around on flickr and browsing photos is an addiction now.But i m doing atleast some favour to those artists and flickr too in my way.That way a few more people get to see the best works.And also from my page they can go to the original uploader of the photo.And waht benefit do i get by all this?You realy dont have any idea how genious this photo-collector ..me :) is actually.I can grasp the basics and thoroughs of any field by just hanging around there for some time.The problem rightnow is the lack of appropriate equipments with me.The day i buy a dig. Its not an ordinary buffalo running away feared by the stick of its owner...its the gigantic GAUR ! Can you feel the immense power this beast has.It is more than double the size of an ordinary buffalo,to start with..

Gaurs are huge animals, they are the only wild bovids to exceed a shoulder height of 2m. Size varies by region. The northern Indian gaurs do not differ in size from the southern breed; but, due to the largest concentration of gaur in the south, more of the larger, better specimens can be seen here than any where else in the country. The dark brown coat is short and dense, while the lower legs are white to tan in colour. There is a dewlap under the chin which extends between the front legs. There is a shoulder hump, especially pronounced in adult males.

Now to add to its galore ...

When alarmed, gaurs crash into the jungle at a surprising speed. However, in South-east Asia, gaurs are said by locals to be very bold and aggressive. In these areas, the gaur does not fear the presence of human. They are frequently known to go down fields and graze alongside domestic cattle, and, sometimes killing them in fights. A gaur never bluffs when it charges. When wounded or angry, because of their huge size and power gaurs become quite dangerous and yield to nothing. Even a tiger would avoid taking on such an animal. A fight has been reported between a male Indian rhino and a bull gaur, reflecting the strength and courage of the gaur. To warn other members of its pack of the approaching danger, the gaur lets out a high whistle for help.

This Indian wild buffalo has been amazing to me since i came to know that it is biggest wild buffalo in the world and its one of the many species of India that are very near extinction.I was actually going to post just some nicest photos of this beast,but came accross a page which contained the clone calf of a GAUR which survived merely 48hrs.

In 2001, scientists announced the birth of a cloned gaur, a rare wild ox.
Noah, was created from the skin cells of a male gaur that had died eight years previously; but Noah died just 48 hours after delivery.
Cloning endangered species, or even species that are extinct, has been suggested as a method for conserving animal populations.Sad...

'Shadow'

Now as we analyse why wasn't it possible to get a full shadow of the balloon.Hope you will enjoy the output of the calories i spent in thinking abt the situation.

Firstly,as we ca see it is evening time and the sun is not overhead(if it were overhead,we wd get the shadow on the ground and not on a hill and that too only a big round image..)

So..there was not everest there which could b used as a screen for the whole shadow image of balloon..gottit!

But..but we have not discussed,that why this image is so eye-catching(as it made a very genius photo-critic to save it rightaway on the disk).

I guess it is giving a feeling that this balloon is invisible (without the hill screen) ,,half of the balloon is visible and the upper half is nowhwhere..thats why it is catching attention..

Plz write ur own reason in the comments,why this is cathing attention..see you.

This image was circulated too much on indian web and newspapers during the month of August.

Aug'15th is the independence day for india.

This butter fly has orange and white colours on the face side of its feathers and a shade of green colour is on the other side of feathers.The photographer might have taken too many shots of this butterfly,but the pose when this fly half-flips its feathers was most suitable to release this photograph to publishers during the month of August.

It took me more than two minutes to make it clear that no photo-effects have been added to this heavenly colourful image of a pond.Incredible colours of nature!!,,such images of nature only comes in our dreams,we dont see this beauty around where we live.

These two paintings were mailed to me by one of very close friend of mine.I m very sure these were made in less than an hour.The painting above,is of Lord Ganesha,a very obvious answer for artists who need a subject for Deepawali greetings and wedding invitation cards.The second picture is of a lady standing,surrounded by The Lotus.It can b understood that the artist may have goddess Laxmi in her mind while making this art piece.To conclude i must say..an extraordinary work by an incredible person!
